If you are interested in becoming a member of the Oregon Rail Users\u2019 League (ORULE), we\u2019d love to talk with you! Please contact our Executive Director Jenny Dresler at jenny@pacounsel.com<\/a> for a current application with dues structure and a letter about the benefits of joining ORULE. Thank you for your interest!<\/p>\n ORULE generally has three or four meetings throughout the year.\u00a0 We meet mostly in Salem (during the legislative sessions) or Wilsonville (during the interims, although we sometimes meet at members\u2019 sites) or conference calls. ORULE publishes regular bulletins by email.<\/p>\n ORULE works within the legislative process.\u00a0 Our members testify on behalf of ORULE in support of programs like Connect Oregon, additional rail funding, or other subjects.\u00a0\u00a0 Many of our members serve on advisory committees, such as the Oregon Freight Advisory Committee.\u00a0 We track legislative bills relating to transportation and publish the results to members.\u00a0 We write supportive letters for our members who are seeking grants.\u00a0\u00a0 We discuss current regulatory affairs, and have good working relationships with regulators.
